Helen Delaney is a former diplomat and has worked in the technical standards field for over forty-two years, first as the Washington, D.C. representative for one of the world’s largest standards organizations and later as the head of her own consulting business. She is a mother and a grandmother, and lives in Sedona, Arizona. The Messenger: The Improbable Story of a Grieving Mother and a Spirit Guide is her first book. She is currently working on its sequel, The Messenger II: The Well.

I met you 30 years ago and you continue to surprise me . You writing is beautiful and as I was feeling sad on this Mother’s Day over the death of my big sister when she was 37 you reminded me that death is only a transition.
