Helen Delaney is a former diplomat. She worked in the technical standards field for over forty-two years, first as the Washington, D.C. representative for one of the world’s largest standards organizations and later as the head of her own consulting business. She is the mother of three daughters and the grandmother of two lovely young women. She lives in Sedona, Arizona. The Messenger: The Improbable Story of a Grieving Mother and a Spirit Guide is her first book. She is currently working on its sequel, The Gift From The Well.

I met you 30 years ago and you continue to surprise me . You writing is beautiful and as I was feeling sad on this Mother’s Day over the death of my big sister when she was 37 you reminded me that death is only a transition.
